The exhibition "Untold" at Museo Bagatti Valsecchi showcased a collection of hand-blown glass objects curated by Rossana Orlandi, bringing together contemporary pieces and historical authority during the Milan Salone in April 2014. In each room, a piece by a designer or contemporary artist was strategically placed, creating a delicate tension with the existing environment.

In response to this artistic dialogue, UUfie presented the remarkable "DINUOVO" in the "Labyrinth Passageway" room, an homage to ancestral roots. This Special Edition of the PEACOCK, reinterpreted as part of the past and carefully restored in the contemporary world, served as a testament to the enduring connection between tradition and innovation.

Adding an intriguing twist to the collection, the BLACK PEACOCK emerged as an anomaly. Symbolizing events of surprise and mystery, it employed traditional techniques, applying multiple coatings of resin, sometimes harvested from trees like poison oaks or black trees. This meticulous process resulted in a visually striking and enduring surface, reinforcing the concept of freezing a moment of beauty. The BLACK PEACOCK offered a unique perspective on the making of the PEACOCK, transforming it into a true art object.

In our presentation at Museo Bagatti Valsecchi, we explored the intersection of past and present, infusing the collection with meaning and depth. The BLACK PEACOCK, with its rich metaphorical undertones, not only enhanced the aesthetic narrative but also elevated the entire exhibition, turning it into a captivating exploration of beauty, tradition, and surprise.
