Located in Toronto’s Forest Hill, this mid-rise residential development proposes a calm, community-oriented approach to urban living. The design is organized around a central indoor-outdoor courtyard, which brings light, air, and shared space into the heart of the building.
Each unit includes a large private balcony, creating a direct connection to the outdoors and extending living space beyond the walls of the home. These outdoor rooms support everyday routines—eating, resting, gathering—while engaging with the rhythm of the seasons.
The architecture is quiet and clear. Materials are simple and natural. The building responds to its context with a form that is modest in scale and open in spirit.
A small space for spiritual gathering is integrated into the plan. Oriented toward the courtyard, it supports moments of reflection and community use, adding another layer of meaning to the shared spaces.
This is a place to live with intention. A structure that invites both privacy and connection. A way of building that balances shelter and openness—between earth and sky.
