Sushi Kaji’s new interior is an architecture of restraint—quiet, tactile, and deeply attuned to the purity of its cuisine. Crafted from reed and plaster, the space breathes with natural texture and light, inviting the senses to settle.
Reed screens veil and reveal, filtering light into shifting shadows. They offer gentle divisions, holding intimacy without enclosure. Plaster walls, softly toned and hand-finished, anchor the room in a muted elegance—earthbound, timeless.
This is a space shaped not to impress, but to disappear—to frame the act of dining with reverence. Material, light, and silence converge in harmony, allowing the food its full presence.
